Dating apps

Dating app, yes or no?

Not sure how I feel about dating apps so far.

The experience was not so great. I meet with 3 people in real life and only 1 experience was a nice one until a certain point.

Dating apps feel like shopping for cloths but with humans. You look at the pictures, read the bio, if there is any, and then decide to give a swipe right or left.

The variety of men that I found on these apps is quite broad and made me question if I should be there or just delete the apps and get a cat.

Is it me or today people are just bored and they stay on dating apps to feel like they are doing something not to be alone when in reality they are lying to themselves?

Staying on dating app without wanting to meet in real life but keep the conversation going for days or weeks seems like a way to trick your brain that you are doing something to find your person when in reality you are not doing nothing else than saying inside, texting with a random person and that is it. No real connection my friend, stop lying to yourself.

Also, what is with men that lack the initiative skills? Have they forgotten that women are impressed by a men with initiative and planning skills?

Maybe, I was in the dark for too long but the dating apps scene is wild, feels unnatural and can be depressing.

What is your experience with the dating app? Have you manage to find a good person and create genuine connection in real life after matching on a dating app?
